Volunteer
work is always available for ages 12 and up. You experience:
- mucking out horse stalls
- mucking out paddocks
- occasionally cleaning tack
- feeding & watering horses
- the chance to groom horses
- helping with daily chores
- handling multiple horses;
our volunteers also get to enjoy riding horses owned by Possum Creek Stables and simply enjoy being around these incredible animals. This is a fun experience for those of you who have a fond interest in horses, giving you a great taste of responsibility. If you are new around horses, we can be the ones to teach you the basics of what you need to know; no experience is needed, but always helpful.
Volunteers schedule their own dates for coming out and helping with either AM or PM chores seven days a week. We ask that you please call the farm owners in advance if a volunteer is unable to make it out on their
assigned day(s) to help.
